About Us
Come and enjoy a workshop and take in nearby sites
We are located 8 minutes drive from Reston station on the East Coast main line or 20 minutes to Berwick upon Tweed. We are happy to collect you if pre-arranged.
Our studio is located on our small holding in open countryside, where during tea breaks you are welcome to walk and say hello to our horses, sheep, cats and dogs. The animals will not be in the studio, so you needn’t worry if you have allergies.
Within a 15 minute drive you can find the popular sandy beach in Coldingham, the stunning St Abbs nature reserve and you can go and enjoy a seaside fish and chips in Eyemouth. All less than an hour on the train from Edinburgh city centre.

Please email Katie@borderspottery.com to receive information about upcoming workshops. We have 1 day or 2 day workshops upcoming in January and February 2026 suitable for beginners and those with a wee bit more experience. We can also cater for private groups.

We are a social enterprise and seek to support mental health through creativity. Opportunities are available to people in the East Berwickshire villages of Coldingham, St Abbs, Reston, Auchencrow, Cockburnspath, Houndwood and Grantshouse.

Come and visit the beautiful beaches, cliffs, sea and bird life of St. Abbs. For nature lovers, there are seal pups, dolphins, whales and all manner of bird life. In addtion for fans of Marvel, you can visit ‘The New Asgard’ and walk along to the beautiful Coldingham Sands

The East Coast of The Scottish Borders is a fantastic place to base your holiday. There a number of accomodation options available locally in Coldingham, St Abbs and Eyemouth or inland towards Duns.
